Visualise x Silk Factory x AKQA | Rolls-Royce Phantom Tempus
As Senior Producer at Visualise, I led the production of a fully immersive 360° interactive experience for the launch of the Rolls-Royce Phantom Tempus — an extraordinary, limited-edition vehicle inspired by time, space, and the beauty of the cosmos.
The experience, optimised for both web and Meta Quest 2, took users on a celestial journey — from Earth through deep space to a pulsar star — before revealing the car itself in breathtaking detail. At the heart of the Phantom Tempus is a headliner embedded with over 1,000 individually placed LEDs, designed to evoke the feeling of infinite starlight. Our challenge was to translate that sense of awe into an elegant, seamless digital journey.
We partnered with Silk Factory to create the high-end cosmic VFX, which we then integrated with meticulously shot 360° photography of the car, captured in a full cove studio. To achieve authentic reflections on the car’s bodywork, we projected a CG night sky into the physical set, blending real-world photography with digital artistry.

The post-production phase was highly detailed and iterative. Each image — from both interior and exterior viewpoints — was carefully refined, with interactive hotspots and a custom UI guiding users through the experience. We paid particular attention to seamless compositing between the CG environments and the physical car to ensure a hyper-premium, on-brand feel throughout.
The result was a luxury-grade virtual experience that reflected the craftsmanship and innovation of the Phantom Tempus — providing press, clients, and enthusiasts a chance to explore the car in a way that was both intimate and otherworldly.
